Position Overview
We are seeking an Apartment Light Maintenance Porter to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining the upkeep of our 120-unit property in Fort Worth. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring our residents have a safe and comfortable living environment.
Maintenance
- Responsible for upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, common areas, parking lots, and other community buildings.
- Remove trash from the common areas and the apartment community perimeter daily.
- Assist in preparing units, including removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) before make-ready.
- Assist the Maintenance Technician/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks on time.
- Assist in the cleaning of available apartments and or models.
- Assist in the troubleshooting/repair of mechanical, carpentry, electrical problems, painting, drywall repair.
- Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Technician.
Leasing
- Meticulously maintains curb appeal.
- Assist management team with other various tasks required.
Administrative
- Uphold all company policies, goals, and values.
Resident Relations
- Professionally represent the community at all times on/off property.
- Deliver communication documentation to residents.
- Contribute to resident retention programs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; interest in technical training or certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
- Proven ability in general maintenance and repair work, preferably in a residential or multifamily housing setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
